Power balls with millet

Bozenka inspired me with the idea of power balls the last time I visited her and she made them for me. This is a super healthy treat contains only natural, organic ingredients.

To prepare around 50 power balls you need:

    • 150g millet
    • 140g dry black currants
    • 70g almonds
    • 120g sunflower seeds
    • 100g pumpkin seeds
    • 20g chia
    • 80g flaxseed
    • 2 tbsp coconut oil
    • 50g desiccated coconut
    • 1 tsp “hot chocolate spicy blend” (mix of cocoa powder, coconut sugar, lucuma powder, chilli, cinnamon, pepper and salt)
    • 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
    • beetroot raw powder for coating

Rinse the millet in cold water before cooking. Add the millet into boiling water. Cook for 15 minutes.

In the meantime add all of the ingredients into a bowl and combine in a blender until a sticky dough has formed. Add the cooled millet and mix everything together.

Form the balls in hand and coat them with beetroot powder.
